Which is more impressive? This or Rach Concerto 3? comment below and why

My big sadness is that Yunchan has decided to give Rach 3 a rest, at least for a few years 😢. My big regret is that I did not discover him sooner. My big hope is that he will decide to go back to playing it again, sooner than later, when I’m still able to travel or even alive to see him perform it live. My big solace, for now anyways, is this video.

I heard no hint of showing off; no sign of playing selfishly. He plays with pure passion and evidently crazy to produce such a distinct sound. Genius and madness really do go hand in hand. Conductor also did a great job. I enjoyed listening to this overall.

His passion and energy are amazing and the full emotions of the music were coming across. Sometimes I felt the orchestra were a bit too slow to keep up with his blistering pace in certain sections which is maybe to be expected from a competition orchestra playing many different works with different soloists. I listened again to the Argerich 1982 performance and she was much more in sync with the orchestra and not quite as "crazy."

As an Infectious Disease specialist, I was deeply wounded during the COVID pandemic. I have very recently retired and listening to Yunchan’s music brings me so much healing . Ricordanza speaks to me.

딱 두마디로밖에 표현할 수 없다. 존나 잘친다. 진짜 존나 잘친다. 사족을 더 붙이기엔 더함이 없는 연주고 말을 줄이기엔 너무 황홀하다. 존나 잘친다는 말 밖엔 할 말이 더이상 떠오르지 않는다.

리마스터가 좀 더 플랫 하군요~ 벨로서티를 느끼기에는 좀 아쉬운듯~

25:18부터 25:42까지 이어지는 일련의 연주를 몇 번이고 계속 들어도, 그 때마다 신을 향하여 자기 몸을 경건히 굽히는 신도의 모습이 보인다. 라흐마니노프 피아노 협주곡 3번 공연이 끝난 뒤 포트워스 오케스트라 단원이 평한 것처럼, 임윤찬은 음악을 위해 자신의 모든 것을 헌정하는 음악인이다.
